Oval Xpower/PowerFlow Exhaust!

I've got a 2.5 v6 ZS and really want a new backbox at least. I've seen an oval PowerFlow backbox on a ZS and i like it! So if anyone has 1 of these or an oval Xpower backbox i'd be interested in hearing from you! Preferably so it fits straight onto the car with no fiddly wielding or kits!

My wife's car is also needing a backbox but we'll only be requiring a standard backbox for her 120 auto ZS. Would like to hear from you on this also!!

Thanx for looking at my post!

:weakbench: :dumbells: :yikes:

You cannot get an oval XPower back box for the ZS. They did do one for the ZR, but the ZS ones are either inwardly rolled (the original style) or slash cut (Janspeed version).

In that case it'll have to be the PowerFlow backbox or something similar!!

Ok, after looking and listening to some of the cars at the meet on Sunday, i would def settle for a 4-5" round pipe. Anyone got 1 spare for the Mk2 ZS??

peterzs 24-08-09 04:51 PM

I don't know what you're on about, the v6 sounds meaty enough without it... You don't want a huge exhaust to drown it out!!!

If you want a decent exhaust, and don't mind paying good money for it, then give Kevin a call at Zero Exhausts... His systems are amazing! :)

Don't suppose you have his number? How much do you think i'd be looking at??

I've got Zero exhausts number at the garage, if you can't find it elsewhere.

will-w 24-08-09 09:28 PM

01233 638193 and it's Kevin (although he's a one-man-band so will always answer the phone!)

I know he's recently quoted someone around the £650 mark to make a complete duplex (twin box) system for a ZTT... So I would expect for a single exit to be around £500?

Get yourself a Piper zorst, I am not sure if you heard mine? I can come over if you want to have a listen Chris ;)

peterzs 25-08-09 10:02 AM

Powerflow, £250, in stainless steel, from cat back, lifetime guarantee, provided you take it in, once a year for them to check.

Yes Chris thats the baby you want same as mine you saw at the Leeds castle meet,

I got mine from Venom Motorsport here:

http://www.venommotorsport.com/produ...tegory=Exhaust

As long as its brand new that is a good price, as I believe they are getting more difficult to get hold of now for the ZS?

Are you getting manni's and sports cat at some point? if you are it would be worth getting the complete catback system, you know you want too! Lol :w00t:

Marky Mark 05-09-09 03:20 PM

The seller on eBay is Road Runner Motorsport, highly recommend and have bought from them before, and see they have 100% feedback so all okay there... :bounce:

make sure you get a decat as well, if a decat pipe is too much to stomach, get a custom exhaust company like zero or powerflow to cut out the cat and put a flanged pipe in, and add flanges to the cat so it can be swapped at MOT.

Not de-catting it just yet but will look at it in the future!

will-w 05-09-09 08:42 PM

Piper make some good stuff, I don't think you'd be disappointed! :)

Marky Mark 06-09-09 10:33 AM

grimmy 06-09-09 12:13 PM
