Daily MK2 180
I've always wanted a 180 for years but between 1 thing and another I've never got around to getting one, after randomly selling my daily ZR td last week I needed another work wagon.
Looked at a few 320 & 330d Msports but something wasn't right, this popped up on a local forum (only mk2 I've seen forsale in ages, 180s are kina rare over here) so I decided a viewing was necessary. Onto the car. 2004 180 saloon in pearl black 93k miles with full service history Belts etc all changed Usual 180 spec 2 boot spoilers Window deflectors Hand free Bluetooth kit Full stainless exhaust from the cat back Decat pipe (not fitted) Power flex engine steady mount bushes (top & bottom) Gearbox rebuilt using steel cage bearings Sheddist clutch kit Sheddist bumper sag kit Cold air induction kit with a cone filter fitted to the inner wing Plans: Lower it slightly Light tint all around Fit decat pipe Enjoy it :-) 1.5 hour drive home and enjoyed every min of it lol. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps4b795540.jpg Few better pics. Needs de swirled and a good polish. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psxa9uxddl.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psai7wm2fh.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psaopnrrjc.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psbpoao4vl.jpg |
Good weather today was a good excuse to clean it lol
Quick run around with Poorboys Blackhole and waxed with Autoglym HD wax. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps79aaed94.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...psb76db077.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...pse6b8ec2a.jpg Contemplating on weather or not to lower it. After getting out of a lowered hard as f**k ZR I'm enjoying the comfort lol |
Looking good!
I am wondering wether to lower mine or not but my lowered and braced ZR just wants to bump me around and like you the zs just wafts along! |
Nice looking car.
|
Great looking car, came up well with the polish.
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: |
Looking very nice, a PB always looks fantastic!
Regarding lowering I have always found the ride to be easy enough to live with when lowering on motobuild springs, keep your old springs as a fall back just incase but I think you should be fine and am positive it won't be anywhere as harsh as a slammed ZR:) |
Looking fantastic mate :)
|
Nice car - reminds me of mine.
I was goimg to lower my mk1 but as it handled well at normal height so I didn't. |
It's my twin too!

Well blow me away! Who'd have thought it lol
Receipt I found in the glove box (from Euro sport exhausts) http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ps08269ed1.jpg Pm coming your way mate. |
That's awesome, back in the hands of a fellow member :)
|
Yeah I kept all the paper work! Should have a few service stamps from JB motors too. So glad it's still looking good and is being looked after :-)
|
Last service in 2010 by JB Motors @80k
Car only has 93k on it at the min. When did you sell up mate? And was it to a Ni man? |
Yeah 80k sounds right. It hasn't been far since I sold it. Must have been gone nearly 2 years now... I think the guy who bought it said he wanted it for a run around for his mrs... He had a focus rs if I remember correctly.
You have pm too :-) |
