Well i have finally found a v8 its royal blue with 60k milage 2 owners needs few bits doing to it to get it the standard i like drives totally spot on more pictures to follow

ZS Phil 07-08-15 06:59 PM

Nice one, I'm after one myself. I sent that guy three messages and never got a reply.
Even if you gave full asking price you got a bargain there.

mrmick 07-08-15 07:04 PM

I did phil and got the extras with it a brand new premium bumper and few other bits brought it wiyhing 5 minutes of going on gumtree

ZS Phil 07-08-15 07:11 PM

So jealous! I did a bit of research while I was waiting for the reply that never came, the first owner was a real enthusiast. Online username of "spunagain"

He had his own website for the 260s, check out this link to see it with its original wheels http://www.spunagain.co.uk/Mycars.htm

Wondered when this would surface! Congrats dude, looks a good'un :)

peterzs 07-08-15 08:00 PM

Well done, have to have a garage the size of a barn to fit them all in.

Looks good, you do find them.

Decent buy! I remember the convoy of these at PoL...the noise...

stamford 08-08-15 06:54 AM

That's nice! A V8 soundtrack is the best.

ZS180V6 08-08-15 07:19 AM

Very nice

How much would a decent V8 cost now ?

Which is a positive - well done !

These are on my "will buy one one day" list. Not the right time for me just now but I do pop onto "the260s" regularly and made a few offers before I bought the beemer.

Couple of supercharged ones on there at the moment for £8K and £10K. 400ish bhp. Where they should've been out the factory to be honest.

Decent ones are £5K plus all day long so if you got this for what I think - it's a great investment. Well done.

LozMachine 08-08-15 05:04 PM

Will end up with an sv before long! In sunspot :yoji:

When I've looked at 260's Mrs TC has said No, the 75 looks like a grandad car so I'll have to wait until I have grand children, Allisya is 3 in October and I'm still waiting......

ZS Phil 09-08-15 06:01 PM

Mick, how do you find it compares to the 180 performance wise. Obviously in-gear acceleration will be better but on paper there isn't that much difference.
Just curious as I'm seriously considering a tourer...

peterzs 09-08-15 07:09 PM

A Derv ZT-T, ZS Phil?????????????

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

ZS Phil 10-08-15 05:04 PM

That's the plan Pete but really struggling to find anything decent. I've been looking for weeks. I'm at the point now where there are Audis and BMWs in my watch list, lord forbid.

mrmick 10-08-15 05:26 PM

Nooo phil there will be one out there for you its the waiting game

peterzs 10-08-15 07:33 PM

The ZT-T Derv's seem to have a load of miles on them.

Still gives you a bit of confidence in the motors, if you do find a low mileage one.

mrmick 10-08-15 08:09 PM

My 75 tourer is only on 106 k now with full history and 10 year old which works out at 10k a year so not over miliage

mrmick 09-09-15 08:34 PM
