Hi all

Specifications as follows: * Support OBD-II protocols as follows: * ISO15765-4 (CAN) * ISO14230-4 (KWP2000) * ISO9141-2 * J1850 VPW * J1850 PWM * Color: Back + Orange + Blue Picture for reference: http://static.traderscity.com/board/...ace-Obd2-1.jpg Looking for around £15 (posted price) |
Did it give you any errors when running torque ?

When you say you've moved to iPhone, what do you mean? You can plug your fone in for diag etc? How?
|

iPhones use bluetooth slightly differently so now need to upgrade to a wifi OBD2 device (typically 3 times the price). There are also OBD2 devices that plug into the car and then have a USB lead for attaching to a computer but I didn't think the BiB would take too kindly to driving around with a laptop on the dash! |

Just a general question about the one pictured: Do you have to have an Android phone to be able to link it to, or is there software that will link it to a Nokia smart-phone? Oh and a quick warning about what the BiB don’t take kindly to: most might think that it’s the act of speaking or texting on a handheld mobile that’s illegal – not true. You only have to be HOLDING a mobile phone to be committing an offence – even if you aren’t actually USING it! So if (like me) you often use your phone as a sat nav, I would recommend one of those mobile phone holders that either clips to your heater vents or sticks to your windscreen to keep you legal. |
What's the app for the iPhone called?
|
Rev, if I remember right. Not cheap though (30 squids)
|
Ok, found it. £27.99, no problem, how much is the part that plugs into the OBD port? Have you got a link?

This came for me yesterday too. Seems to work with the car stationary with Torque on a galaxy s2 but haven't had chance to really have a look at it |
Do they record mpg aswell?

Different cars give different outputs, depends on the ECU and how many sensors are fitted around the engine. |
Thanks! So what would I need to connect to my iphone?
