I've got some which I never fitted to my Trophy Blue so don't think I'll be fitting them to my silver one.

Sneaky k&n filter is it worth replacing for a proper induction kithttp://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...psmbyhte3w.jpg

Car is spotless
and a few suprises like the exhaust, springs and the oem CD multi changer and air con :)

ZS Phil 29-08-15 09:01 PM

Looks like a bargain :)

Green springs are likely to be the eibach (also known as x-power) upgrade. No longer available and highly sought after.

Skillen 29-08-15 10:00 PM

Lucky on the springs there!

That metal sheet doesn't look like it's any good for rad airflow lol

:thankyou:

Good call!

talkingcars 30-08-15 08:02 AM

Clean and tidy looking.

I'd be out there removing that metal panel now before arranging an enclosed filter or a inner wing filter.

My mk1 had a traker fitted, I found it when I scrapped it, I was only the second owner, I got no paperwork for mine. It was hidden behind the panelling in the boot.

Rockey5uk2001 30-08-15 08:11 AM

Plates off :)

Will have a nose round for this tracker.

Induction kit.and catch can will be the next purchase

Don't spend too much time looking for the tracker ... ;)

Rockey5uk2001 30-08-15 01:13 PM

Thanks mate. Appreciate that

Rockey5uk2001 07-09-15 08:35 AM

Noticed starting up this morning there is a slight tinny rattle from the engine bay.

DOH! :o(

Rockey5uk2001 25-02-16 10:26 AM

So a little update on this (photos to follow)

Since my last update she has had a new inlet manifold fitted.
Developed a leaky oil cooler (replacement on order)

Ive also purchased a better innerwing induction system, catch catch and some silicone hoses.

Along with a new bumper, headlights and a few other bits and bobs, these are currently being referbished and are almost ready for paint. so big updates coming on this.

that's all for now,

top_man_eldo 25-02-16 12:01 PM

Best of luck with it, looking forward to seeing some photo's.

The induction will make it roar!

Get that sorted ASAP, they have been known to fail dramatically and dumping all the oil very very quickly.

Aradon 08-04-16 08:00 PM

Quality. How much did the manifold set you back?

Was going to get mine done (bought one on ebay a while ago) just took it out of storage and the two clips at the back have perished and snapped off. ******.

tcb 180 09-04-16 10:56 AM

A little update from the weekend!

Bumpers just ready for sanding,

will get getting it painted in the next couple of weeks.

I like how the Mk2 bumper merges with the MK1 kit.

Undecided if I should leave it like this or add the front bumper spats and wings etc.

What do you think?
