What can I say...............

Oh hello what's this.......................

Something got lost and parked on my drive today.................

Time to come clean. I had agreed to buy THE XPG mk2, the one known by all, from Jay. Dan needed a car to get around as he sold his BMW and was waiting for his new one so agreed that Dan could have 'temporary custody' as I was in no rush. So today myself, daughter Gina and her boyfriend Matt drove up to see Dan and take custody of THE zed! Funny how things pan out as I mentioned when Gary put it up for sale that we ought to buy it. So when it came up it just had to stay!

So it will just be kept as a club car, shown when possible and not messed around with. Just a few little jobs to do to keep it looking its best. The mk1 will not be going anywhere either! Ideally wanted a decent monogram but nothing doing, this is probably the only one I would have considered outside of that. So not a bad acquisition. Hardest part was keeping it quiet in Dan's thread. :D

Thanks Mick for temp custody. ;)

Hope she turns out to be the car we expect. Everyone deep down will be glad that it's in your safe hands.

Good work on keeping that quiet, never suspected that at all lol! Great home for her and lovely news:)

Haha that is funny - Here I was wondering how long it would take before it was up for sale again (Sorry Dan ;) ) In all fairness, knowing how well you look after them, it would probably have been tidied up a bit and looking even better....

glad you've got a decent one in the end Mick!

Lukeus101 19-09-16 08:06 AM

Why would you lie about such things... ;)

peterzs 19-09-16 10:10 AM

a well looked after car there mick, sure it will serve you well

stamford 24-09-16 09:30 AM

A few little things to resolve, mainly electrical and some minor fettling but other than that pretty happy with it.

Just insured it and taxed it this morning so road legal and covered. Got it insured with Pete Best, need to send back some photos to get an agreed valuation. Just got limited mileage at 3k a year, can't see it needing anymore tbh.

Think people can see the Yellow ones and we don't get run into like all the ordinary coloured ZS's.

There seems more and more of us, on the Happy ZS scene.
