***MG ZS 180 For Sale, Mark 1, Low Miles***

With regret the time has come to part with my much loved ZS 180 Mark 1 on an 02 plate with extreme spoiler.

The reason for this reluctant sale is that I am investing money into my home and looking for something cheaper to run around in. It will be sad to see her go, but the good news is that I wish to stay in the MG community and I am looking for either a cash buy or a swap for a 120 or a 1.6 ZS.

I have owned the car since April 2009 which was totally standard when I bought it, and am the 3rd owner. It comes with some history, but since then I have serviced the car myself. The vis and balance motors are all working correctly and has been washed and cleaned every week and has had plenty of tlc since I bought her. She is taxed until the end of February 2011 and the MoT runs out in March next year.

Cambelts changed December 09 by George (Charger)
New Inlet Manifold May 09
Quaife ATB Lsd November 09 (fitted by Rally Matt with lifetime warranty, http://forums.xpowerforums.com/showthread.php?t=51631)
Lightweight Flywheel, supplied by ekspower
New O/E Clutch November 09
New O/E brake discs and pads fitted all round November 09
Coolant change March 2010 (http://forums.xpowerforums.com/showthread.php?t=53481)
Sheddist Clutch Kit
Piper 4 inch slashcut catback exhaust
Sportscat
BMC Induction piped into the inner wing
Catch Tank
New Blue Monaco seat covers fitted July 09
Window Tints

Most of the above comes with paperwork and receipts. I also have a brand new de-cat available, or if someone wanted to swap over the sportscat.

The only bad points as you can see from the pictures the n/s back door has had a respray at some point in it?s life, it actually looks worse than in the flesh. There is a minor scuff mark on the n/s front bumper, and a few small marks around the car.

The photographs don?t really do the car justice it really needs to be seen to see what good condition this ZS is in. This car would also make an ideal track car project.

Looking for around ?2000 Thankyou.

Best of luck Marc, cracking example, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a home for it.

Dan1971 22-10-10 12:08 PM

Best engine bay I've seen. Looks good mate - Good luck. Top mechanical mods already done and belts. Spot on money-wise IMHO.

Is it not worth more than 2k with all the mods as the cars had a lot done?

Marky Mark 23-10-10 08:42 AM

I have forgotten to mention in the advert, the rear o/s door handle is starting to flake, but I have a perfect replacement with the window handle and spring clip.

Also a couple of the clips on the back of the driver's seat have broken when I changed the seat covers, I also have the two of those as well. :smile1:

Thats a fine example Zed you have there buddy. Any potential ZS buyer will be exceptionally hard pushed to find a more complete ZS for there money in the country, the mods alone are worth way more than the asking price and they are still sparkly new what a bargain. If I didnt already own a Zed I would be buying this one.

Thanks for all the kind comments about the car.

Just an update I forgot to mention the car has a spare key, and once sold it will have the original stereo with the car.

The de-cat is also now sold. :)

stamford 07-11-10 01:16 PM

I bet it was hard Marc. Gone to anyone we know?

Marky Mark 07-11-10 01:29 PM

Yes it was hard, but hoping to be looking at another MG next weekend.

I sold it to a guy called coupe8891, he went to see the trophy blue 180 being sold by Stuartamc, he said he would be coming on the forum from time to time, so shall be good to still know she is going well.

stamford 07-11-10 01:31 PM

Well he's certainly got a cracking car, surprised it stayed for sale so long tbh.
