Swap my Saloon for your Hatch

Hey Folks,

My 180 is either up for sale or swaps. I need a hatchback either 180 or lower so I can fit my massive German Shepherd in the boot. Will be gutted to see this go but I dont want to ruin the mint alcantara interior. The spec:

75,000 miles
MOT - 10 Months
Tax - June 2012

Interior
Full gunsmoke alcantara (very clean!) with rear head rests
Push button start
Chrome x power kick plates
Speakers upgraded all on a 4 channel vibe amp
Climate control
Clifford avantguard alarm, with certificate. complete with remote start (lovely on cold mornings!!) (?1000 worth of alarm here)
MG TF Steering Wheel
Tailored Mats
Very very clean inside

Can include a Sat Nav/DVD player in sale for a bit extra.

Exterior
Freshly sprayed front bumper due to stone chips
Full 180 bodykit
Xtreme spoiler
HID Headlight conversion
De-badged boot
Custom XPower front badge
Highly polished and always shines in the sun

Engine
K&N Apollo Induction Kit
Stainless backbox and decat (Sounds amazing)
New VIS motors
Catch tanks
New Battery
New brake pads all round

Bad Points:
11 Spokes need a refurb and Tyres
May need a Sheddist Kit in the future

Priced to sell or swap

£2200 ono

dam if only i had a hatch

ZS 20-04-12 12:34 PM

I have a hatch... but I assume your after a MK2 ? :)

Captain Peanut 20-04-12 12:50 PM

I guess my MK1 hatch isn't going to be a fair swap?!?!

Lukeus101 20-04-12 01:08 PM

I would but would have to have cash on top.

Bobdope2002 20-04-12 02:05 PM

want my 110 saloon oh wait has to be a hatch God dammit

grimmy 20-04-12 02:39 PM

Make the dog go in the zr and keep the saloon.

Jono-MG 20-04-12 02:53 PM

Blimey I'm tempted and its done near twice the miles as mine! A cracking machine in a superb condition, you must share your secret in keeping the drivers seat so mint afer 75k is there some hovering trick you employ while driving?

Also if I can offer this up some rear seat covers are only £15:

Lukeus101 21-04-12 03:47 PM

I will consider a Mk1 hatch plus some cash my way :)

yellowzr 21-04-12 07:48 PM

This looks a tempting offer If I swapped the plate and wheels no one would know shame mines still in bits until tomorrow head gasket done just the few bits to replace and service

skates and tow hook is a good idea, i think you should ask your dog if he likes extreme roller skating.. lol :D

carmadbaker 22-04-12 10:01 AM

Lol

Craig-ZS180 22-04-12 06:03 PM

Very very tempted by this one as have been wanting to get a mk2 180 for a while. These things never come along at the right time though do they after having just got engaged and now expecting our 2nd baby.
I loved the car @ PoL & was nice to meet you & Kate.

Ritchy 22-04-12 06:11 PM

why not buy a cheap set of rear seats out another zs, or 45, or 400, takes under 5 minutes to swap seats over, then wouldnt matter what the dog did in the back

then, when you want clean back seats change them back over

Its and idea but its more for her safety, she cant get comfy on the back seat so atm long journeys are a no no. She also likes to try and jump on Luke's lap while he's driving so I have to sit with her and hold her back. Not the best situation.

Use a dog seatbelt... worked wonders with my friends two dogs in her saloon (she now has an estate)

Thanks for the congratulations, Im sorry I missed passing it on to both of you at the time too as have just seen the thread again, so congratulations to you both too :happy2:
I hope you manage to sort something out car & dog wise, if I had the extra money spare & my car was ok for what you were after I would've been driving down to start the exchange
Hope Olly's going all well for you..

Ritchy 22-04-12 08:00 PM

sure something is modifyable:) shame to sell a known good car

if you can get a turbo conversion done sure you could modify a dog bed into a zs seat lol

MG ZS STE 22-04-12 08:12 PM
