Well tomorrow I am meeting up with Sammy for the track cars first photo op! Hoping it makes it to the front page of the site ;)

So I decided to get the other set of wheels out which are standard, pretty much unmarked mk1 wheels.

I then took this photo as a 'before'...

I then started the process of spraying them white....

Now currently all drying (centre caps too) in this state....

I am packing them in to the car and taking them with me tomorrow so a quick wheel swap will give the car its cleanest look possible!

You will get to see the finished product tomorrow :)

Get the tippex out and paint the lettering on the tyres as well that would look cool.

Was thinking about that but its 2 x Toyos and 2x Avons

That's all I expect to get from the writing, one shoot lol! I'm not even using them to drive to the shoot, will be a quick change when I get there! 2 now done!

what you gonna do keep one side avons and the other side toyos for the photo shoot,thats what id do mate

That's what I was thinking to... Just realised though, one of the toyos are the wrong rotation tread wise. Problem other than In the wet?

might make the handling a bit weird

I had two of my kumho tyres the wrong way round for over a year and noticed no difference.

I'd assume it would be rubbish for water dispersal but I don't plan on running them in the wet as there isn't loads of tread anyways!

I'll just go with it with Avon's one side, Toyo's other side. Surely on track they will all grip nicely in the dry?!

thats if it is dry bud,hope it is though!
