I quite like the metro too! The roof wrap is aweful though!

ZS Phil 23-11-12 11:00 PM

Seriously though, would you not feel a bit of a bellend nipping to Morrisons in it? Nice car all the same :D

Smokey 23-11-12 11:07 PM

Uh, yes. But then I could see my red face as I closed the door lol

haha thats true! Guess it would be hard to lose in the carpark too so it does have its practical uses.

we talking about the metro or the merc here

Smokey 23-11-12 11:12 PM

And other drivers would be blinded in the summer so wouldn't see you driving it! Am sure It could be used in appropriately too!

Phate 23-11-12 11:13 PM

Ah yes, the Emirate's do like a bit of bling! :D

Not to my thing but it is stunning, wouldn't use a flash in the photo though :D

Maxxed_Ross 23-11-12 11:14 PM

Nope I don't like that at all. Ugly car doesn't help

The Merc DTM cars in shadow chrome looks much nicer

Nothing to see in Jason's post ... ?

Reding through - is is a chrome wrapped Metro with a carbon bonnet ? Watched a fifth gear the other day and they did one. Cost them nothing , but it would cost a normal punter £1500 - £2000.

They paid £500 for the metro - wrapped it to see if they'd improve the value and then spold it for about £450 .... !!!

Steven11 24-11-12 09:16 AM

Imagin trying to drive that on a sunny day, you'd be blind. Bit to in your face for me.

Lol...not quite dan..its a 2.500 000$ white gold mercedes slr with about 1600bhp...and enough torque to tow a small housing estate....although a wapped metro sounds like fun

Maxxed_Ross 24-11-12 06:35 PM

mad as it sounds the Metro quite suits chrome lol

Dan1971 25-11-12 07:52 AM

The 5th gear metro sold on the bay for less than £500 first time round, was blue though underneath.

Yampiedog 25-11-12 08:56 AM

I always wanted to polish up a Delorean to that shine but I don't think that finish is legal in the UK.

I do like the bling on that bt the Merc doesn't do it for me.
