Yellow TD mk2, only 9600 miles !

Not a 180 as the title says, but could be a bargain with this low mileage.

My twin, so first registered with MG/R.

Replace the V with a T and its mine!!!!

Be interesting to see what it goes for.

Just noticed the sellers feedback.....................0???

petet16 04-11-13 10:13 AM

That looks good, we have a few forum members in the P'boro area, I wonder if any of them know the car, is it Sunspot or Trophy Yellow ?, hard to tell from the pictures.

The only note of caution for me would be the fact that the seller joined ebay last Saturday, and their first listing is a car, always makes me wary.

Thought this had a bit of a funny smell about it, here's some additional details that the seller has either over looked or doesn't know about.

Mileage 91000 in 2012
6 previous owners
Cat D write off in 2011

Buyer beware I think.

he might of made an account so he could sell his car. end of day its collection only and he aint asking for a deposit so if its knackered you can just say you dont want it

So the seller's accidentally put the decimal point in the wrong place regarding the mileage, forgotten to mention that it's a Cat D or the number of previous owners, listed it as a 180 but then mentioned in the ad that it's a TD, included no photos of the engine bay or dash, and the ad is riddled with poor punctuation.
There's more than a funny smell here - combined with the lack of seller feedback I'd say it absolutely reeks!

I don't know if I could do a third yellow one but it is local.

Hmm

Avoid like the plague I think. Looks too tatty to start. I was just about to say, I think he's left a zero off there.

Its YELLOW, so worth bringing into the fold lol

MG ZS STE 04-11-13 05:16 PM

Must have already sold it, no longer available.

big_wasa 04-11-13 05:17 PM

He has pulled the sale anyway

petet16 04-11-13 05:23 PM

Yep, he certainly has ;)

Yampiedog 04-11-13 05:28 PM

Looks like a bag of nails, the wheels are trashed, the mileage is incorrect. Avoid would be my opinion...

Am from Peterborough myself, can't say i have seen it around at all.

Something does seem odd about it all tho, just can't put my finger on it.

Cheers
Dave

I only asked him about the mileage and the cat D, next thing he's pulled the auction, make of that what you will

ZSONE80 04-11-13 09:07 PM

I looked at it on saturday, its not good has lots of different yellows and dents, back bumper is cracked and passenger side rear arch bodykit is half missing and yes its done 96k. Inside is trashed, drivers window doesnt work and door doesnt shut as it should. Engine doesnt sound very good so all in all AVOID. He had it on gumtree for 950 i offered 500 which he would take but wanted it gone by sunday! So i walked away.

peterzs 04-11-13 09:17 PM

glad I didnt put a bid on it!!!

I'm sure this was on Copart last year, it was missing it's original wheels which would explain the White ones.
