cheers Pete, I now know the ZS and ZR part are common.
Anyone got any they are flogging ? |
Do you need the pipes or just the O-rings at the ends? I had to replace the O-rings on my old V6.
|
i took it to my brother in law's garage today and he said the pipes are corroded. so i think i need the pipes. now i know here the leak is coming from i will take them off and have a better look.

it is a known issue with them - i've had two sets fail on me already :(
Glad to see that some-one has been able to get some made up for a decent price though - just in case i would cover these in axle grease or paint to make sure they dont go the same route as the originals... |
yes, good idea. I know Pirtek will make them up if you take them your old one's as a patern.
|
If your ones are showing signs of oil.
Change them, sooner than later. Smokey had them go on a new car he had just bought and killed the engine. |
i have a brandnew set of V6 ones ?

I may need a set as mine is leaving bright orange puddles around! |
these are what i have
PBH101800 from Rimmers PBH101790 from Rimmers |
Skillen, if its bright orange, could that be the power steering fluid rather than oil???
|
I was thinking more it was leaking the coolant from its pipes.
Losing coolant and no mixing with the oil elsewhere. |
erm, dont know, but where ever i was you can bet the wife was in a p!ss about it. Lol
