Very nice, looks awesome on the Cosmos alloys. It's funny, when I had my mk2 on Cosmos' they looked far too small but they really suit your car.

peterzs 02-01-15 06:57 PM

Great colour as well.

Good looking car.

:clap::clap::clap::clap:

talkingcars 02-01-15 08:27 PM

Bang tidy.

Stephen 02-01-15 11:28 PM

Hi and welcome!!

carmadbaker 03-01-15 07:04 AM

Very nice dude  love the colour

Big Gee 03-01-15 09:28 AM

Thanks guys, still got to fit my rear spoiler, 180 skirts and Espace splitter. Hopefully get that done when I get a spare day or two.

Dan1971 03-01-15 10:42 AM

Really nice.

Not sure if I'd fit the 180 kit to be honest - I think it may drown your wheels out and then they'll need to change.

petet16 03-01-15 11:52 AM

That's a good looking car, I've always liked those Cosmos wheels, it's a shame they never made them in 17".

Supercharged_Z 03-01-15 12:53 PM

Like that, is it lowered?

Dr Doggystyle 03-01-15 04:14 PM

love the color

It's a Rover thing :punk:

Nice car :)

LukeZS96 03-01-15 09:31 PM

Really nice car. I wouldn't 180 kit it I think it looks really good as is tbh

Big Gee 04-01-15 10:27 PM

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. I agree with the comments about the 180 skirts but would like the sills colour matched, so looking to swap them for skirts/sills off a 120.

Looks good in the snow!

ZS Phil 16-01-15 03:54 PM

Fantastic looking car :) Good effort!

I think 180 skirts would look a treat if the colour match was spot on. That said, its no bad looker as it is.

Got me tempted to put a Rover grill on my 180, works really well with the colour and the front lip.

Big Gee 18-04-15 04:06 PM

Finally fitted a spoiler.

As it looked when I bought it.

Surprising how it makes it look so much more modern.

Love it.

Changes to the grill again, this time a MG one with custom badge inserts from Locking Vinyl

http://i1137.photobucket.com/albums/...pstfohygvt.jpg

Decided To change the mirror covers back to the original blue ones which I think suit the car better than chrome.

http://i1137.photobucket.com/albums/...pswodfvnxr.jpg

The grill badge impressed me so much I had to get back on to Darren at Locking Vinyl for a matching rear one. If you havent dealt with him before then I would highly recomend him. A pleasure to deal with.

So thats me up to date, apart from the head gasket has just blown. Rovers, Gotta love em

Dan1971 19-06-16 08:18 AM

Like it - apart from the yellow fogs that is....:sorry:

Shame about the HG .... :console:

Big Gee 14-07-16 10:52 PM

HG sorted and running nice again. Fitted a CVT gear surround with a few added power points and coin holder from a R25. Fresh coat of underseal applied, now just an MOT next week to look forward to.

You mentioned that this coin holder is from R25?
I do not remember this type of coin folder was ever even an option for R25. Must be transplanted from somvhere else if you found it on R25.

Good to see the 45's getting some love too.
Been working this week on protecting the underside of the other half's 45, caught it just in time I think.

Good point. I learned today something I did not know. Obviously did not see many automatic R25 in order to remember it... :)

Changed the dash trim to match the gear lever surround. Before & After pics.

Much better - chrome rings on the dials too - nice.

Lukeus101 26-07-16 06:51 AM

Looks awesome mate :)

Big Gee 26-07-16 07:41 AM

Thanks guys

Big Gee 31-07-16 12:01 PM

The wood trim on the door cards was looking a bit on the weird side after the dash update, so vinyl wraped it. Not a perfect match, but happy for now till i decide on something better.

Your 45 looks great! An MG gearknob now would finish that interior off lovely in my opinion lad
