This is a bit different
Perhaps my plan of a ZS with a T series turbo wasn't such a daft idea after all :smart:

Seen that one some time ago.

i would like that engine in mine
|
Whoa thats come down alot in price. Been for sale about a year now. He wanted over 4k when it was first put up.
|
i bet that moves
|
I seriously was considering this last week, got photos sent of interior (which is converted to ZS except centre console/dash) however the failing for me was the rear. standard boot (mk1 with reg plate recess) and even worse was the aftermarket bumper (obviously couldn't source real one and spats)
Shame really, 4k on the engine! And would it not be a nightmare to insure? What would you say it was lol?! |
that'll be why there's no pics of the rear then
|
pretty much, he sent me one and its what put me off, the interior was fixable, the back would be to expensive to convert

it's not a total disaster. the diffuser would probably grow on you. All it would need for a full Mk2 conversion is the boot lid
I quite like the gauges and switch down there... did he say what they did? |
its missing the spats on the rear door, rear panel as well as the bumper spats, and the bood would defo have to be replaced....not sure if the bumper would grow on me without the kit and theres still the insurance?
And he never mentioned MOT or what the dials did I'm afraid. |
I've got one door Spat, and I'm sure Paul Luti said he could clone them if needed
|
just wondering if the extra expense of new bumper, spats and boot and respray...and exhaust is really worth the extra costs?
|
Probably more trouble than its worth.

Looks like a right Mickey Mouse shed.
