im unsure wether i like it

grimmy 19-03-09 08:37 PM

The front is horrible but side on and from the back that is a nice looking car for me

Nor 19-03-09 08:37 PM

Is that the midrange one?

afcbadam 19-03-09 08:43 PM

im worried that they have used a k series. i wonder if they have sorted the hg problem.

Alan.F 19-03-09 08:47 PM

It has got the 1.8T K-series in it

Dave MGT 19-03-09 08:59 PM

That is one smart looking car!!
That art decoish interior looks good!!
What the mk2 75 should have been if funds allowed.#

Cannot belive its got straights on though?? lol

arwilson80 19-03-09 09:42 PM

Nice... Except for the front. It's hideous IMO.

mikesezgreen 19-03-09 09:44 PM

the chorme 'flick' at the rear end is very new mondeo esque...

jury is out though, i think first glance it seems nice but when i look again....hmmmmmm.

KevG 19-03-09 09:56 PM

Where was that taken Alan, I also see that the Dreadnought Racing Support Vehicle is in the back ground.

mattie007 19-03-09 10:18 PM

Im guessing it was Donington Park today.

What was it doing there though?

What was the quailty of the car like?

stamford 20-03-09 06:18 AM

Not bad, not great but has something.

Glen290 20-03-09 08:46 AM

That's what i thought but i do quite like it, are they making MG versions because that would look sweet.

Supercharged_Z 20-03-09 09:19 AM

Now that i like.

Kev they would of been there for Support at dreadnoughts.

The lutis work fairly closely with rover or the chinese

Maxfly 20-03-09 01:59 PM

i rather like that, think the MG version would look better - less chrome and other rep mobile stuff:) An is that MK1 straights it's sitting on??

The engine is now called the N series and supposably has the hgf issues sorted but only time and miles on cars will show if thats true:)

MK1 straights from ZT by the looks of it as they have 5 studs

Bobdope2002 20-03-09 04:10 PM

thats nice bar the wheels and the ugly badges

Southside_ZS 20-03-09 05:31 PM

Is Peter Stevens still working for MG? if so he should know how to MG-a-fy it properly. ;) :)

vinny1979 20-03-09 06:35 PM

is that a brm 1st pic

TjP 20-03-09 07:09 PM

Looks Lexus like from the rear and a bit American from the front (maybe its the grille).

Its got potential... just needs some wide arches, less chrome and some sort of spoiler :)

Yes its Paul Luti's mums, They were taken at Donington yesterday MG-UK are supporting Luti's new LE500 Race car, The guys were from the suspension research and development dept.

RudeDogg1 20-03-09 07:16 PM

has that come from longbridge then? im confused lol

Murray203ps 21-03-09 11:26 AM

Needs a lot of re-vamping for me to buy as a base car. The MG version if they brought one out will hopefully look a bit more aggressive, but at the mo just looks like everything else on the road IMO.

Glen290 21-03-09 03:03 PM

Id get one and put rover badges on...lol
