Engine transportation...now booked!
If I were to get an engine from say down South (500ish miles), how would be best to have it transported to me and at what cost should I expect?

I know people who have used Paisley freight and they seem reasonable,
never used them myself though Link-https://www.paisleyfreight.com/pallets.php |
Buy a van - transport it - sell the van for £100 profit to cover the diesel .....

KV6 engine? Will it fit in the back of a ZS? :D
Sounds like an excuse for a Northerner to come down south for a couple of days... make a weekend of it and meet up with a load of us southerners ;) :beer2::beer2: |
I was told it would fit in the front not the back of a saloon due to the doors not opening wide enough? Freight is probably the way to go I guess for ease?
|
I can ask my mate who paid for the engine to come from Dreadnought to my house, probably around £50, pallet load, can find out Monday for you.
|
Thats pretty much the same distance....£50 you say....I'd take that!
|
£72 on pallet
|
take it up on the train lol..........
