ZS 180 front strut

Hi Guys,

Anyone know where I can find a OE front right strut for ZS 180? Rimmer bros etc. say not in stock?

Cheers,
Paul

What a weird state of affairs, the left one is in stock, the right one has a part number that xpart doesn't even recognize.

It's RNB000330 if that helps with the search.

Thanks for your help guys makes being part of the forum worthwhile, The first two options don't have stock and just order from xpart so no luck. Best of British have some he says :)

Have emailed the guys as vehicle handling solutions but to be honest if it's made to order it may not be worthwhile as I don't really want to wait a month or so for them to be made. But depends how quick they reply from their contact page otherwise will order from Best of British, their reply and quote for postage was prompt.

Can't believe such a part is no longer being made... surely they will look at re manufacturing them?

the only difference on the left and right front strut is the small bracket that you bolt the brake line to, easy enough to cut your old one off and weld on.

I know this threads a month old, but as Pete says Best Of British Rover on eBay has some handy bits of kit, I've just brought the last of his two rear shocks from him for my 180 and brought the front ones earlier this year. I can't work out though if he assembles the units himself, as he was selling them as a complete unit, ie - shock, spring, top mount, bump stop, dust boot etc. I didn't think they were available from the factory pre-assembled?

I think they might have come from the production line, that would explain the pre assembled units.
