Just on my way home and some stupid ******* lorry driver decided he wanted both lanes on a roundabout and hit my front passenger side any ideas am i looking at an insurance write of damage is

front bumper damaged
frontwing damaged
wing mirror damaged
scrachs hear an there on rear pannels
alloy wrecked car seems to drive ok tho

cars a 2002 zs 180
to say im angry would be an understatment

on a positive not im ok got a sore neck tho will get checked out tommorow

it will get wrote off, as there is more than ?2000 worth of damage there

on a positive though you could buy it back for about ?200, spend ?100 doing it back up, get a payout from the insurance then the car will owe you naff all, like mine does lol

I had similar happen to me a few months ago when someone undertook me and then turn right accross my bow and then tried to say I was in the wrong despite him turning right from a lane marked for turning left.

He scratched the bumper and damaged the wing, quotes came in at about ?700.

In the end I got a second hand wing in the same colour for ?25 and fitted it myself, I was changing the headlights and removing the resonator box anyway so it was no really hardship.

Anyway, my point is the ?700 quotes on a car worth little more than ?1000, as you have more damage you may well be looking at a write off so I'd consider buying back and repairing it yourself.

thats a good point fingers crossed its not a right of tho as the insurance is already so expensive

Write off easily insurers don't bother to repair zeds much nowadays :(

Glad your OK, pity about the car but buy it back and get it sorted.

Could do without all the hassle though.

buy it back, fix it up, sell it, use the money and the payout to buy a better zed :)
