one side lower

Seems I have the front o/s lower tthan the nearside. Don't know why so will have to investigate. I have a spare car on the drive so might change all the legs over. Anyone else had this?

Yep, pretty common, how much lower are we talking.

Steve mead 10-10-12 07:39 PM

Not far off 3/4 to an inch

petet16 10-10-12 07:45 PM

That's quite a bit, a few mm is not unusual but that's about 20mm, a cracked spring is a possibility.

Thought you had set it up for Brands, like that!!!!

Steve mead 10-10-12 07:49 PM

Can@t see any obvious signs but will cange all the legs next weekend. I don't think the Zs will handle like a formula ford Pete, must remember that when we are there. Are you coming down that day?

peterzs 10-10-12 07:52 PM

Yep, see you there.

You could have mismatched rear springs, quite possibly from when the car was new, another classic is finding the wrong anti roll bars fitted at build.

Well all swopped over and guess what, car is still lower one side at the front.
