MK2 dashboard conversion progress
I've been working away on my dash today. Because of the amount of work required to remove the dash, I've been recording a video along the way, which i regret doing as i sound like an idiot, but its less hassle than taking pictures and explaining! I have got approx 30 minutes of work left until I can start removing the whole thing. Next thing to do is to wack in the mk2 dash and make sure it all works!!! I'm hoping it does. Here's some piccies :)

sorry guys- i failed this time round.
The dash was completely detached from the bulkhead, but i coudn't get it out the car- steering wheel was in the way. I didn't have the socket required to take off the steering wheel. Will have to wait until another time now, gutted! :(:(:(:( but the dash is back in and all bolted together and working which means i'm no worse off than i was before :) |
Well if you want to get rid of it you know where I am :) Cant you just pick up the socket and the swap them over?
