My ZS 120+

I've been doing a bit lately to our ZS as we have the use of the eldest sons Rover 200 as he's just bought a 45 Diesel so thought i'd share on here. 1st of all we found a ZS in the scrapyard that had some tidy but very dirty blue monacos in it. After a bit of a good look round we left with the seats, bonnet, all the bumper trim and a front 180 bib all for the measley amount of £120...bargain. Anyway my eldest lad has had my grey half leathers for his 45 and i've had the blue. I gave them a really good clean and used some Meguiars leather care on the leather and they are as good as new :)
(I'll get some pics later) Changing the seats lead me to find that the drivers side front seat x-member had major signs of fracture so it was time to pull up the carpet up and get it welded. All done seats back in and sorted. Next up was the grey dash and door inserts which are now a nice shade of Trophy blue . Last Sunday i decided it was time to get the front bumper off and make a start on getting it repainted as it was more stonechips than colour. I've had Thursday and Friday off to paint my bumper and it's now back on . This is just after i'd painted it Attachment 3551 Attachment 3549 Attachment 3550 Really pleased with how its turned out. Next i've got to swap the bonnet over as mines so badly stonechiped and refurb the wheels. |
Good find, got it all for a steal.
