Think I have some mate, will have a look in the garage over the weekend. They are the same as the hairpin centres iirc, if that makes it easier to get hold of some as im sure that's what I used on my old one.

Lukeus101 20-02-15 10:05 PM

See I tried that as I have some but they dont fit right :(

Craig-ZS180 20-02-15 10:09 PM

That's strange as the ones I used were definitely the hairpin ones as they had the rover badges from the sport wheels. Went straight in my mk2 rims without issue at all.
Either way I know I have some of the original ones in the garage somewhere as I didn't want to cover them with my custom centres so used the rover ones to save the Mg caps.
Will let you know if I find them mate.

Legend thanks Craig, been told on the old facebook that there is a small lug on them that if it isnt in the right place then it wont fit straight so will give it a go early tomorrow morning :)

Craig-ZS180 20-02-15 10:21 PM

No worries, hopefully won't be too hidden in the depths lol.
Hopefully it'll help you out.

Yeah there is a little dimple/lug that locates into the central hub area of the wheel which has a minor shaped some that the dimple/lug fits into.

Probably me being a blind pillock, thanks again Craig :)

Craig-ZS180 20-02-15 10:34 PM

No worries. Think I did the same the first time round and actually bent one of the dimples on a cap.
One if those things I guess. Surprised someone managed to get one out that easily then as they can be a pain to remove without the wheel being off.

Im yet to see if any damage has been done :/ so daylight will show all. Repped you mate as well :)

I have lost one myself before but they can get loose over time so possible it fell out. :)
