My very silver interior
Well I dont think Ive ever posted pics of my interior, and Ive done a few changes to it so thought I'd show n tell :cigar:
What I've done: - Silver center console and passenger strip (sprayed) - Silver TF steering wheel - Engine start button by gear stick - Aluminium pedals Not a long list but IMO its an improvement over standard, so Im happy with it :) http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/m...x/IMG_1195.jpg http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/m...x/IMG_1196.jpg |

Take your radio out, stick your hand in the hole and push the buttons at the top out (they just pop out, towards you), and theres 2 screws you should be able to see just behind where 2 of the buttons were. Theres another 1 screw on either side of the console, around abouts where your left knee would be as a driver, right knee as a passenger. The final two screws are hidden behind a plastic blank between the gear stick and the left arm rest/drink holder thing. I forget which end the plastic blank pivots, so just pry it gently with a knife or something similar. After that, just pull the center console towards you enough so that you can unplug the cables behind (climate control etc) and I think thats it, out it comes! :) Oh yeah need to take the gear knob off too - pulls off. When you have the console out the passenger strip should pull off fairly easily, its just clipped on. |
Like the steering wheel.
What's the thing with a starter button ? Do you not need to put the key in now ? If you do, then I'm not sure about doing that, then using a button ? My Scenic had a starter button. Fine with that as a sensor on the key meant that it could stay in my pocket. Just get in, and press the button, no keys. |
its like looking at my own pictures lol, almost identical!

Nice, i like where you put the button. Need to get one myself. I had one on my cavalier and must admit it felt well cool pushing a button to start the engine.

Nice work, neat and tidy. Looks very modern.
