ZS Boot Springs
...I'm also after a pair of boot springs for the ZS, mine have failed completely so could do with a good set that preferably hold the boot in the fully up position!
Can't believe they are almost £55 each new! (They're for the large spoiler) |

Am I right in saying that there are two different types of torsion bars available for the saloon bootlid? One set for the large rear wing and a set for without the rear wing? Going by Rimmers there are two different types?

Looks like you are right bra. Looks to be half a dozen variants of #8 available.

Wasn't there a way of fixing the boot not staying open thing? Am sure it tightened it up to a degree?

You can adjust the tension of the springs slightly by moving them on to the second set of stops.

I have fitted the extreme spoiler recently, not a factory option on mine. I have adjusted the bars to the second position as well but it didn't change anything, the boot lid sticks when I press the open button, but doesn't fall when fully opened. Should I find another torsion bars for the large spoiler ? |
