Gunk In Oil Filler Cap
 

Hi guys it's been a while since i've been on here but i'm after some advice. I'm getting the caramel look in my oil filler cap so much so i thought an head gasket had gone. It's been checked and it's all ok with the gasket so where is this gunk coming from? Could it be a breather your advice is welcome. Rick

How often is the car used because it could be just condensation

Yeah could be i only drive to and from work at the mo 10 to 15 minutes each way

Take the car for a good long blast at the weekend........

thanks i took it for a blast and it cleared it a little obviously i'm not driving for long enough.
