i am guessing who-ever got the better launch.....
|
I would say the engine that has been well run-in at 165k miles did it ;)
|
Well infact it was a dead heat, i couldnt belive it, i must say my dads car goes well for the amount of miles it has done lol
|
That is because modding a NA engine is usually a waste of time and the small "gains" you get tend to mean feck all in the real world :)
Hence why i never bothered even fitting a "proper" performance filter to mine, although i will probably decat it, just because the front flexi joint is needing attention. |
with only 5bhp seperating them it should have been a dead heat or as someone said, whoever got away best so its no surprise really.
even if a totally standard zs went against a cammed and full exhaust equipped zs the gap will still be surprisingly small, you need a lot of extra bhp to really thrash another similar car. I remember wirly and gorge racing down a slip road onto the motorway, wirlys was iro 190 bhp and the other was supercharged supposedly making 245 bhp, according to wirly, who was following, up to 130 leptons the sc car had only puller 4-5 car lengths. Best way to make a zs faster is to shed weight from it. |

and handle better and stop faster ...........strip em out ftw.

It also stops people asking for lifts! I also relocated the battery so there's a perfect excuse for not being able to put the seats back in ;)
