Balance motor
 

Anyone know what could cause my balance motor to stop working properly. It is currently stuck open. Well my green light is constantly on, on my VIS Indicator anyway.

Also, can I fix it or is it goosed!!

they can seize inside, nothing a file can't fix.

What am I looking for inside?

I removed the butterfly from mine no noticeable difference even on the rolling road. The butterfly just slides out. very quick and easy to do

I'd be looking for burnt tracks on the pcb, especially on the balance motor as it's more prone to oil contamination.

I will pull it out and check it and see if I can free up the butterfly and if the board is ok then hopefully that's it. If not I will get a new one.
