Todays Progress
Evening all.
So today I've spent a bit of time on the Zed. As some of you will have seen before, it has been on a bit of a diet, but today I decided to take it a bit further. The idea is to try and make the car weigh as little as I can. Bucket seats will be in there next, as the standard seats are pretty heavy. :weakbench: http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/...1/IMAG0132.jpg http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/...1/IMAG0139.jpg Also had the paint out today, won't be to everyones taste but I quite like it. http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/...1/IMAG0152.jpg |
Not worth it on a k-series IMO

Couldn't afford a V6.
|
talking the roof lining out is one thing i would not do from past experience.
your car will get so much condensation now, especially in the winter... try and put it back in |
I'm hoping it'll be alright, it wasn't too bad last winter.
Can only wait and see. |
not a fan of the paint to be fair but if you are on a diet, the front seats are a good thing to lose as they are pretty heavy!!
|
You can go a lot further - swap front window winders for manual ones from a 1.4 R400/civic, aircon, front door cards, cubby box/arm rest, less paint, door step trim, fluffy dice.............
|
Poor Car! Sorry I am not a fan of the striped out look.
|
I know it wont be to everyone's taste by any means.

Be boring if we all had the same car, my yellow one makes me smile every time I get in it, or even look at it. Sad I know, but am I bothered!!:whistle::whistle: |
