Ah, OK mate. I might know someone who could use them in TY - is it OK to ask if they'd like them?
Well I've got the 'box in, and everything reassembled, thanks to my mate Mike who drove down from Surrey to help. So it's now got a new clutch, a 60k gearbox, fresh 'box oil and a new bearing. Should be good for while now. Only slight issue is the clutch pedal, it's very soft, I'd like a bit more feel in the pedal. Went scrap hunting as well this week managed to get an MNX grille, too, so while the bonnet is still awful, I've fitted the grille. The main thing is, after months, the car works again! http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8334/8...c5529b48_c.jpg |
Sounding very positive, good one! It'll all come good in the end ;)

I hope so. I'm receiving some gentle reminders from the other half that I ought to be looking to sell it - too many cars apparently!

They just don't understand! Threaten to trade her in!

I think I have it sussed by having a woman who appriciates cars and by sharing them.
I bought the maestro and she paid for the engine conversion. I bought my ZS. She bought her ZR. I bought the MGF and "gave" it to her. I do enough on the ZR to keep her happy and then she doesn't mind so much when I spend time on the others. |
Well im a woman and i love MG'S, so find the right woman and your sorted.
Dont give up on the zs mine has has fortunes over the seven years ive owned it, but i dont regret any of it, it is a decent care that if they are looked after properly , they look after you!!!! ive got a 2001, red zs ive bought to replace and upgrade things on mine if i can be of help with any bits needed????? good luck :-D |
