Might be back

If all is well, I might be back in a ZS 180 soon. A low mileage MK2 in starlight silver. Been wanting another one since selling the last one. This will be my weekend/family/show car lol. :D
Still got the Freelander but it's fully kitted out as my work vehicle, and the Escort won't go out once the salt hits the roads. Don't mind being out in the wet, but not salt lol :)

Oh, it will lol......will have company logos on, to advertise my business. But subtle, and maybe some carbon wrap in a few places (bumpers and rear wing). But kept mainly standard in appearance.......ITG induction kit, ebc disc's and pads, some engine bay dressing, nice stainless exhaust, I'll also remap it. :)

Looks like I'm not getting this one, the lad I was buying it off has just picked it up. And it's had some bad welding underneath. So he's going to use it over the winter then use as spares for his own ZS's. :(

Ahhhh soooooo you do want a V6 ;)

peterzs 22-10-17 12:19 PM

Trouble is they all seem to be going by the front jacking points and the round bit where they lift it on the big garage jacks!!!

Got my MOT coming up soon, had an advisory last year, on rust so see if the antirust treatment worked!!

My old one did, don't mind getting welding done and under side treated. But don't want a Fred Flintstone car lol.......lad doesn't want to sell until he's had it on a ramp and checked it properly......he said the whole underside was covered in rust. I'll find out during the week. :)

Looks like it might happen, going to look at it on Sunday. Taking my mate who restores cars with me, as he can assess it better than me. So fingers crossed. :)
