Cheap MK2 ZS180

Gents,

i have a cheap mk2 zs 180 for sale, there is a reason its cheap while il explain below.

2004 zs 180 in starlight silver
41k
11 months mot
belts done last month inc aux belt
all tyres good
hpi clear
sheddist clutch kit
induction kit (needs moving to inner wing for benifit)
drives just like it should, feels tight and isnt a slouch.

The car needs some TLC to bring it back to its former self, it needs

a rear bumper (current one is cracked)
a bit of paintwork, mainly the new backbumper, wing mirrors, bonnet and front bumper. the bonnet would need a bit of filling as previous owner decided to bolt on a scooby went
the exhaust backbox is blowing
inlet manifold rattling, however i have one i can supply.
the interior is a bit grubby, however i have faith it will clean up
wheels are curbed but all straght.
slight dent in drivers door, which i should think would come out.
there is no air con rad, i would say it had a slight tap on the front end in the past and the owners repaired themselfs i have a rad you can have included in sale, but hpi clear, log book clear

thats the basis of it, it sounds probably worse than it is, but its a ideal car for somebody with time on there hands, and willing to do it up as and when, its perfectly driveable as it is, just mainly cosmetic, plus with the belts done you have another 6 years before another big bill.

£2000

......for £1400..... Might have had some bits sorted on it though mind you...

Supercharged_Z 07-03-10 05:28 PM

it wasnt £1400 it was £1650 but then it had no belt change, no inlet, and very little mot.

yes this was the car george was selling on xpf.

the drivers lock is ok, just the previous owners heavy handed, its not been screwdrivered, also il add that it has a clifford alarm with remote start

am really interested in buying this from Ross but really need a definitive list of things that need repaired/replaced and advice from you guys as to cost of dent removal/painting/bumpers/respray etc?
Also can I replace the manifold and aircon rad myself (what is the aircon rad?)

All advice appreciated.
