Cam Belt Change

Hi guys it's time for the dreaded cam belt change, what i need to know is what should be changed at the same time? I've been told it's a good idea to change the water pump aswel but should I change anything else?

Yep, water pump at the same time, who's doing it for you? Take it you've heard of the kv6 belts god that is Lates at Rugby?

A machanic friend has put me in touch with a company that does the v6. Not cheap though quoted £480 for the three belts and tensioners is this about right.

tentioner doesnt need changing till 100,000 miles and can be changed with the belt in place, however its highly recommended that you change the tentioner pulley and idler when changing the 3 belts,

TBh the belts are made out to be harder than they really are.

Sounds about right... I'll need mine done reasonably soon too. Almost 70k on mine. :(
