:(

Hello all.

I've decided to sell my Mk1 52 plate silver 1.8 zs. It's has 71k on the clock, 17inch wolf race alloys, news stainless steel exhaust, 3 month old cd player with 6 x 9's on the parcel shelf.

The driver side door has a minor scratch along the door barely noticeable but is visible, also has a couple of bumps on the O/S/W.

The reason i want to sell is i took it to the garage and they said the head gasket is on it's way out. So i have decided to get a motorbike instead.

I know there are some knowledgeable peoples around here so i wanted to advertise here as one of you may see this as a project, and believe me the car drives very well.

Anyhow, i'll be looking at around the 700 mark. If there is any interest to buy the car as a whole please PM me. I'll leave it a few days before i advertise else where.

Many thanks for your time.

x

Do you not have the funds to rectify it? Shame to let it go because of that.

Ive been very close to doing the same recently, although this weather has put that off for a while for sure! Plus the misses and my old dear would kill me, thats if I didnt first :bike:
Guess its too late if I just turn up on it!

Honestly i don't mate, it breaks my heart too as i've only had her a year and she was a dream. I've put a lot of effort and money in her despite the minor scratches and bumps.

I've been thinking about getting a bike as well as my zs in due time, but it seems that time has come sooner than i thought.

Just a quick update to let you know that i kept my baby and spent 9 straight hours today stripping the engine out cleaning her, changing gaskets, timing belt and other things. Now she is running like a dream!! all it cost was 120 for parts and a bit of elbow grease. I'm very happy that i decided to keep her rather than selling, but i also invested in a 2010 Honda Cbr for spring/summer to ease the pressure of my girl. ;)
