Finaly done, yay!!!
Well the whole motobuild problem has been resolved and so two weekends ago I invaded my mates driveway and insisted he help me fit the lot.
These are the bad bits, http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...3072011519.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...3072011520.jpg And now the shiny new things before fitting, http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...3072011518.jpg and after, http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...3072011521.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...3072011522.jpg Here is what a broken flexi looks like and exactly how it came off, was just suporting its own weight at the fixing points! http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...3072011525.jpg |
Job well done?? Any noticeable gains?

Hell yeah! i didnt realise how much i was losing with the old, knackered one but defo better low down grunt and pulling much better. Starting to sound better all the time, plenty farting now lol.

Nice bit of handywork there mate and good to hear that Motobuild eventually got you sorted out.

Cheers for all the comments, but all is not well! There is a sod of a rattle between 2800 and 3100 revs, i think it could be the back box as i did stop one behind the fuel tank by knocking seven bells out the heat shield but this one is really distracting from the lovely new symphony that i should be enjoying. Ah well back out with the hammer!
