Looks good Steve

Dan1971 16-05-13 06:39 AM

You doing the whole car then ?

Smokey 16-05-13 07:47 AM

How difficult was it to do yourself?

Steves Cleenz 16-05-13 09:08 PM

yeah the whole car is being wrapped, it wasnt to bad to do the bonnet, done the passenger side today and that was a bit tricky in some places

m1cha3l2013 17-05-13 05:43 PM

Looking great so far Steve, will look forward to seeing it all completed :cool2:

Steves Cleenz 20-05-13 09:28 PM

update:

the bonnet wasnt too bad to do, the rest was a PITA, here is how it stands at the moment:

oh yeah :D

Nice mate. Its looking more like a touring van every day. you'll need to put a big wing and green carbon stripes on it now.

How will it go with washing and polishing a wrap ?
Does it even need polished or would there be no point :hmmm:

Steves Cleenz 21-05-13 04:18 PM

there are special matte products for vinyl, so i can still get it to bead up without a shiny finish :D

Smokey 21-05-13 04:27 PM

Are there products to GIVE it a shiny appearance?

Steves Cleenz 22-05-13 12:05 AM

you can use normal polish/wax on gloss wrap, but as mine is matte no need for the shine :D

Just seen this Steve. Ill tell you what mate, that looks absolutly minted. Love it. Looks to me like your a dab hand a applying wraps. Could be a very profitable side business for you. How much did it end up costing to wrap the full car.

And would you consider doing it for anyone else ?

Craig-ZS180 21-06-13 12:57 PM

It does look amazing Steve, really love how it sets off the signage on the van too. If it was mine I'd be well chuffed with the results.!
I've been tempted to look into getting the zed wrapped for the past year or so now since I saw it being done at top gear live on a old jag, Porsche and a Bentley coupe, the finished products looked great.
Just never know what a good price is and what's a bit ott.
 :mml:

Well, if you have the patience for detailing then you certainly have the mindset for wrapping, top work.

MG ZS STE 21-06-13 01:52 PM

looks like its made of batmans armor. Love it!

Steves Cleenz 22-06-13 12:56 PM

thanks for the comments :D, dont think i would offer it as a service as it was a right PITA to the do lol

think i t was a total of £250 including vinyl for my sign writing

Ritchy 22-06-13 01:32 PM

Looks awesome, just need the last handle done now:p

Yampiedog 22-06-13 05:11 PM

Out of curiosity what sort of monies worth does the vinyl wrap cost?

reaper0709 22-06-13 05:57 PM
