Do stuff Mk2 saggy bumper session ?

I want to get my rear bumper sorted before it gets too bad.

I've read a few threads on it, but I'd far prefer it if I was doing it with someone who has done it before and knows how to go about it.

Happy enough for someone to come to mine, CM21 0JT, but I would expect to travel to someone and now that I'm working shifts, can do so and to be honest would prefer to do it on a weekday, to keep the Mrs happy as I don't get many weekends off now.

Anyone ?

If was down your neck, I would help you out, its a real easy fix, as you have read.

Honestly Dan as Kevin said it is really easy, as ham fisted as I am I managed no problem by myself.
Then there's the self satisfaction when done.

Allright - allright .... ordered some clips for when I break them ... :slap: and as I'm off next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I'm sure that I'll have time to break things and then get them fixed by someone .... :joker:

While you are at it, might be a good time to seal up the vent that goes into the boot as it's a known place for water getting in.

Where's that vent then ?

Will be obvious when you have the bumper off Dan, but if you peel back the boot liner on the nearside you will see it there, has a rubber flap that sometimes get's knocked the wrong way
Sorry don't have pic of nearside but look at this and you will see between the bumper clips the rectangle shape, it's that on the other side.
