Bargain 06 Diesel on Ebay (not me selling)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-mg-z...item3f46c88d47

Just saw this on Ebay, wish I could run two cars as it looks like a right bargain for someone.
Not the lowest mileage in the world but relatively clean, full 180 kit (minus alloys) and just needing a slave cylinder, £200.

Hope someone can save it from the breakers yard!

Needs a brave clean up but could be got cheap.

That header tank is minging.

Might be worth a punt as a project but I wouldn't bid without looking first.

Yeah, maybe, it looks neglected.

What puzzles me is that if it only needs a slave cylinder, which isn't that expensive, why not change it and sell the car as up, running, and driveable.

Clutch slave £50 http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/MG...dd902a6&000072

Mk 1 wheels??

Slave could be hiding a clutch/gearbox problem. I suppose.

Surely its worth buying for the 180 body kit for that money ?

do you reckon he has boundry issues with his neighbour?

Looks like its been in a front end smash. Fogs missing with mesh behind them, poor fitting NS light/ bonnet, mis-matched suspension (the front is up in the air).
Depends how cheap it is but to be honest I would give it a swerve.

petet16 09-02-15 09:09 PM

You're right about the front end, it all looks a bit crooked.
