F1 brakes

I'm just having my brakes sorted with black diamond pads, braided hoses and decent fluid and while browsing around I came across this info which I thought was interesting

Interesting read, unbelievable stopping power, can see why F1 cars dont like wet tracks.

Very interesting...

What I find amazing, 186mph to zero in only 4 seconds... That is mind boggling

more than mind boggling!! Neck snapping. A few years ago, I was lucky!! enough to be a pasenger in the 2seater Minardi F1. The acceleration was bad enough, but when they slowed, just the reduction from the rear wing, then the brakes. They are just awesome...:):weirdo:

This video shows the braking force of an F1 car on a passenger. Unfortunatley i cannot help but laugh my socks off every time he face plants the seat in front! :smart:
