Introducing Maggie
 

Yep her Name is Maggie! It says so on the Number plates and thought rude to change it. She needs some TLC but is pretty solid and thought what better way of keeping a log of what I've done than by posting a story in pictures.

Might not be to everyone's taste but I'm loving her and think its great to be saving what is getting a very rare car.

Looks very tidy, what’s the colour? Tahiti or Royal blue? I like it.

It's Royal Blue. In pretty good condition too.

Picked this up second hand and its not cleaned up too bad so once I have new filter will be putting this on the old girl.

Had a chance to get her up on a ramp and have a good look/poke about underneath. Happy to report all good under there just with some surface rust on jacking point and around these little bungs. I'm tempted to leave them out so it can drain quicker instead of dripping for hours!

As she was all good underneath and I would like to keep her that way so all stripped, cleaned and prepped before I then Rust treated, Zinc Primed, Seam Sealed and then under sealed. All the cavities have also been wax injected.

Great to see some love going on there....nice one. Love new badges.

It's pretty constant when you take on any used car as I'm always finding odd bits that need sorting and I'm quite fussy.

I bought a whole second hand headlamp just so I could get a replacement door/cover as one was missing. Bought a pair of new old stock number plate lights cause one was damaged and didn't want one new and one a bit yellow!

Good to see the effort put in, looks pretty decent.
