Reset the throttle what a difference

Car felt like its been lacking over the past few months so reset the TPS what a difference the throttle response is fantastic the cars never felt This quick in the 9 months I've had it can really notice the boost from the vis now

How is that done.

Maxfly 17-10-13 10:37 AM

Is it the same way as the K4, sure that is something like ignition to turn 2 an pump accelerator 5 times !?!!

petet16 17-10-13 10:58 AM

The only thing I've found is ign to position 2 and pump the accelerator 20 times, but I'm pretty sure that it only works on mems fitted to k4 engined cars, I don't think it does anything for the Siemens on the v6.

Maybe the op will share the info.

Don't believe you can on the KV6,

I too would be interested to know the source and 100% definitive proof it can be done

The easiest way to find out is to try.

Placebo effect perhaps?

James Raby 17-10-13 06:09 PM

Yup

maxtherotti 17-10-13 06:52 PM

it does not work on a kv6
maybe the throttle disc on the ops car was a bit gummed up and it was dislodged
