TonyK7ng 10-07-13 05:17 PM

Bloody hell guys,
Check ya all out with ya low mileage lol
Cars are made to be driven, so with those low mileage figures I'm seeing your cars are either musium pieces or your all tight as hell and don't wanna pay for fuel hahaha

mattie007 10-07-13 05:19 PM

95000 02 zs120

mrmick 10-07-13 05:19 PM

Drive mine daily but only few miles to where i pick my van up from unit

Craig-ZS180 10-07-13 05:21 PM

Haha, since I've owned mine I've had a few other cars in between too. I got mine on early 50's so in the 3 years I've had her I've still equalled an average of 10k a year even with other cars being used.
The derv I had for 9 months I ended up doing 13k in that.. Don't know how I ran the mileage up so much in that?

Still with lower mileage makes it better to sell :)

TonyK7ng 10-07-13 05:21 PM

Man I do megga miles though

TonyK7ng 10-07-13 05:23 PM

I'd never sell mine though :)
I love her too much lol

Craig-ZS180 10-07-13 05:24 PM

I love mine too but there always comes a time where something more exciting comes up and you have to really consider the options.
Just have to see what happens when that situation arises as I am at present.

Jay-ZS+ 10-07-13 05:42 PM

I'll see your 102,000 and raise you. This was mine a while ago. Its over 125,000 now.

stamford 10-07-13 05:45 PM

I think it is over 90k, no battery in it ;) But I don't use it every day as the commute racks up 350 miles a week and that costs a lot of fuel! I've had mine 8.5 years.

shaunyd 10-07-13 05:50 PM

To be fair i do have another car aswell i have an 08 plate vectra c sri 150 x pack with more miles on than the mg haha

I get ya Craig, but you can always make ya car exciting, I.e engine transplant, big turbo conversions ;)

TonyK7ng 10-07-13 05:55 PM

Shaun,
What engine u got mate?

ZSONE80 10-07-13 05:58 PM

2002 180 saloon 54k

TonyK7ng 10-07-13 06:01 PM

Wow more low mile'ers rolling in.
To be honest it would feel good to see less miles on the dash lol

MG mad 10-07-13 06:11 PM

85000 km, bought it with 69000 on it 14 months ago. Quite a bit of mileage given we've never commuted in it. 2001 180

Not with the money ill be spending. Plus with the v6 those sort of options are rather limited even with deeper pockets.
I'm not knocking my zs and certainly never will as its one of the best cars ive owned handling and performance wise and probably the best overal package in one but I've been hankering for a big power turbo for a while now and I may have found the right one now.

Anyway, back on to the thread there are some very high milers, there was a V6 on here knocking the 220k region iirc before it was crashed so they do get used and certainly can hit high miles.. :)

shaunyd 10-07-13 06:13 PM

Zs is 1.6 vectra is 1.9 cdti 150 mapped to 185

Haha, I haven't thought properly about selling mine, the car I want is within price range so may not have to sell the zs but just take it off the road for a while. I get these little "bees in my bonnet" phases where I "really need" the turbos or something else and I always end up going back to the zs because its such a great all rounder. It may just end up covered up on the drive for a year if I do get the other car but then I may sell if I can get decent money for it.
All depends but I think this is all really due in another thread rather than in here. :)
