Being posted today to nobrainer. Daytona being next etc.

caled 09-03-12 10:21 AM

Any pics of the VIS tester? Id be interested in seeing how it works. I assume its a VIS-out tester rather than one of the permanently wired in VIS testers that you put in the dash?

Nobrainer 09-03-12 10:32 AM

Grrrr. I'm next :tease:
I don't think it's wired in as its getting passed around. I'm happy to post some photos and instructions when I get it. Just waiting for Stephen...

SheppeyTrio 24-03-12 05:26 PM

Is this making it to the meet tomorrow?? As i'd love to test my Vis's!!!!

Nobrainer 24-03-12 05:54 PM

Err, probably not as I've still got it, unless someone wants to pick it up from Southampton between 9 tonight and 7 tomorow morning?

peterzs 24-03-12 07:36 PM

Just seen this, I can meet up at Rownhams tomorrow 9.30 on the London up side. If you could do that.

It is a break out tester, you plug the tester into the VIS motors, as the tester has sockets for each motor.

I'm just leaving work now. So can be picked up in Totton in the next hour or two or I start work again at 7:30 tomorow

sheldore 24-03-12 08:19 PM

are these still available to buy ?

Nobrainer 24-03-12 08:19 PM

It does only cost a couple of quid to post though and I'll be able to send it on in a couple of days. I was just waiting for new vis to double check they were working fine.

This is a share/loan thing. It doesn't 'fit' in the car as such. There was a fitted indicator for sale but not sure where from.

Anyone got any idea where these type can be purchased from??

peterzs 24-03-12 08:51 PM

Jay-ZS+ was doing them but I have a feeling he stopped a few months back, might be worth a pm.

The VIS indicator kit is a great wee thing, Makes me smile when I se them working away!

Nobrainer 24-03-12 09:38 PM

Thought a list of those waiting might be useful.
Copy and paste your name on the end if you want it. Might I suggest if you want it, out would be nice of you were a supporter? Not forcing anyone just suggesting like.

Nobrainer 24-03-12 09:44 PM

I'm full of good ideas me but at work they just tell me to stop moaning :-)

Smokey 24-03-12 09:45 PM

I agree. It's bloody cheap for a years subscription!

James Raby 25-03-12 06:44 PM

Pretty please, going to sign up for supporter status ASAP

caled 25-03-12 07:19 PM

Im ok for the time being, the VIS seemed to be doing what they're supposed to be doing today. Id be more interested in building one myself.

big_wasa 25-03-12 07:34 PM

R8NMG 31-03-12 07:46 PM
