-40mm

has anybody lowered their mk1 zs. what were the results, any rubbing, reduced full lock, wheels hitting on arches on a big bump? ect

I'm planning on putting on Moto Build springs once i get access to a garage.

I had Leda suspension fitted to my first ZS180. It was lowered by around 40mm initially, but I raised it up by about 5mm due to rubbing. I was still getting some rubbing on the rear wheel arches, but this was due to having wider wheels with a smaller offset. The wheel arches really ought to have been flared a bit for the set up that I had.

I had the spax coilovers on my mk1 back in the day and lowered it quite low. Experienced no rubbing and had 17" wheels with the standard size tyres.

i see moto build do -30mm ones i think ill go for them then i know ill have no problems atall. need to change the tyres aswell as the current ones have no grip atall in this weather, its quite dangerous. the ones that are on there are brand new but were put on as part of the deal when i brought the car last month
