MG ZS180 dampers

Does anyone know where to buy new MG ZS180 dampers from as I don't think you can buy them anymore..........

I've tried looking for Monroe and other well known brands of OE dampers on the net to no avail  so I don't know what to do. Was going to fit coilovers but to be honest having new dampers and the Motobuild springs fitted up would suit me just fine.

Anyone in the know or able to help please? :please:

I think Rimmer Bros still have some, but last time I looked the price was a bit fierce.

which I guess is why people are getting rid of their cars or biting the bullet and fitting aftermarket suspension packages.......

was hoping to find Monroe or similar dampers for good prices...........none of the places I have found do the 2.5 V6 dampers anyway and only list 'Rover 45'

I got quoted approx £650 for 4 new MG ZS180 dampers today :o( seems like there is no 'standard' replacement for the genuine and rather expensive items.

I phoned Motobuild for some advice and one possibility are GAS shocks which should be okay as a replacement........

really lost on this guys and gals..............help would be very much appreciated.

I wonder if the dampers can be rebuilt dude?? surely someone can rebuild the units??

I'd definitely be interested dude at some point. Going to have a quick gander online to see what these 'GAS' dampers are like.
