Another mpg thread!

As we speak I'm sitting in a service station near the Lake District. I've traveled 150 miles and only used 1/4 tank of fuel. Roughly what's the mpg? Anyone know?

Sorry maths at 8.30am is not for me!

The first quarter of my gauge seems to take forever to pass, then the rest takes just a few seconds :p (exaggeration)

No idea why.

It's a very well serviced mk1 180. I've made it to Luton. 400 miles. And light still not on!!

Hey dont imply mine isnt well serviced! lol

When its warm lets say I 'dont care too much for mpg' It doesnt get thrashed at all, it doesnt get redlined, it just accelerates alot :p

Did it on roughly 15l of fuel which gives 45mpg
Which is pretty good!

My mk1 is on the way to getting 350miles from this tank,
as long as the needle doesn't start playing silly buggers!
Which it will.
And that's mixed driving and no motorways.
I reckon I could get it to 400 easily but even that is only about 33mpg

Wasn't implying that at all lol. Just with the amount of servicing I have done over the last 6 months I can only assume this has helped.

I am very impressed with what it achieved. Even though it was very very easy driving. Although I had 5 people in car (3 adults a 5 year old and a baby) with a boot load of baggage.

If driven with consumption in mind the zs can be very good.

For what it's worth my 500 bhp m3 gets 400 miles to a tank too... Same size tank
