Two days of thorough cleaning
Tar removed, clayed, cutting compound, polish and two layers of wax.
Then cleaned the engine bay and the interior. I'm sore from all the manual buffing! I also raised it 10mm all round and moved the 20mm spacers to the back and fitted some 15mm ones to the front. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...pscd2a3707.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...psb8760947.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps29068c37.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps1161c555.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps3818485f.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...ps8c7c18b4.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...psb9656624.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...psda22d5d9.jpg Now all I need to do is keep on top of it all until PoL. (That and fit my front brace, fit the front splitter, stop the damn glovebox rattle & find out what is rattling about at the front) |
:sick:need to sort that front bumper gap too:sick:

Hmm .... good enough to eat .... off .... Good work.
|
looks a good job. i didnt think you were debadged at the back?
|
Yeah it had a really terrible aftermarket one when I got it. So I took it off. But it's scratched where the last owner took a chisel to the original badge I think and then covered it with a shitty badge.
I just took the ZS letters off yesterday. Thanks gents. Took a lot of time but it's worth it. Also about the front, it broke the mounting point from being too low *facepalm* So now it's "held" "in place" by cable ties. |
Sex on wheels....
Which is perfect since there is a decent gap to fit it into... |
