aftermarket oil pressure gauge

anyone had experience of fitting a aftermarket oil pressure gauge and if so where did they find the best placement on a v6?

I removed the oil pressure switch, installed a t-piece to house the low pressure switch / oil pressure sensor.
Oil temp was taken from an adapted sump plug.

Cheers, this was what I was going to do but wasn't sure as you can get an adapter plate to go before the oil filter but I wasn't keen on that,
