I've been hacked!!!
 

Tried to get into my ebay account today and it kept saying my password was wrong, hit the button to send a new one to my email and then Hotmail wouldn't work either!!!!

Emailed ebay and Hotmail and it turns out someone sneaked into my ebay account, then found out my email and hacked that too!

All credit to ebay though, they sorted it out straight away, cancelled all the stuff this hacker was doing and refunded me all the costs involved through a live web chat with a technician. Over all a very nice experience all things considered! :laugh:

just goes to show you need to be extra extra careful this time of year!

Did they give you any details about where he was from? :whistle:

no but they knew someone other than me had been in the account and had suspended it before I had even emailed them. No idea how they know that considering all the 100's of locations I access it from at any time of day or night lol

Do you have any idea how you got hacked? Did you get one of the phishing e-mails do you think?

I got a thing through ebay asking me to confirm my details, but that if I didn't request this then I was to ignore it... so I did

well Hotmail finally got round to sorting this out at last. The ebay hacker had listed 4 cameras worth £4000!!!! eeeek

So now every password has been changed again. Hopefully this will be the last of it!
