59MM Red/Chrome MG badge
Bought this on ebay, went to fit it to the car and its a mm too big, emailed the seller who said i have to slightly sand down the grill where the badge goes to get it to fit. alternatively you could trim the badge down a little..
so anyone who wants it can have it for £7 delivered £15 here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-RED-CHROME...ayphotohosting http://i12.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/ed/2f/8a46_1.JPG http://i16.ebayimg.com/08/i/000/ed/2f/8b74_1.JPG |
got exactly the same one with exactly the same problem ended up modifying the old badge housing to get it to fit.
think he would of realised by now must of had loads of complaints. |

It's normally inches that get increased in size, not mm's ;)
Moving on...... What's it made from? |
Have yoiu tried using the 1mm number plate pads to stick it on with?
That way the small amount of gap created by the pads may be enough to allow it to fit. i did this with the Xpower ones on ebay & it worked a treat Shroon |
I got a trophjy blue 1 last year i just took a bench grinder to the edges and it fits fine. Soon to be binned tho as the ebay ones rust so im going back to standard when i find 1

Ive been reliably told these badges are cheaper from old dealerships, circa £10.
