I thought so, but its a complete sealed unit.... the bar seems to got from one mount to the other? almost like a dumbell..

You just unbolt both ends of the bar, remove it, and push the old bush out and replace with the poly one.

the ones you have in the pic, are they split so the go either side of the joining bar? Do the rubber bushes need to be cut off as they look to be a sealed around the bar?

The ones in the pic are split yes, so half pushes in from each side, the big bush isn't sealed to the bar afiak, I changed one on a 180 which uses the same set up and the bush pushed out really easily.

I see what you mean it does look as if it's bonded to the bar, but it isn't.

ok.... so i need some of these asap! lol where ? is it the same on the 180? i've found a listing on ebay for what looks like squared off bushhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZR-ZS-T...item4ab4d7fa6c, and even a complete "tie bar"http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZS-Engi...item2ebcf39e27 is this a job i can do myself withought a ramp?

The orange bush has been rounded to improve it's performance, if you leave them squared off they transmit more noise and vibration, the bar you've linked to on ebay won't fit a diesel unfortunately.
